You now have the two skills that build a live dashboard from your own tools. Sales and email load fresh every time you open it, and each closed month gets saved so you can see the whole year.
Watch first
The walkthrough shows a finished dashboard and what each panel tells you. The setup steps that are easier to watch than read have their own short video right next to them.
Download
You need both. One builds your dashboard, the other keeps your history growing every month.
Builds your dashboard from the tools you already use. Run it again any time you want to change something, like your goal, your colors, or a new tool.
Download the setup skillSaves each closed month to your history base. Your year tracker, forecast, and trend charts all read from what it saves.
Download the monthly skillBefore you start
You need a paid Claude plan. The dashboard reads your numbers through connectors, and connectors need a paid plan. On the free plan, setup has nothing to read from.
| What | Why | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| A paid Claude plan | Connectors and the published dashboard depend on it | Yes |
| Your payment or store tool (Stripe, PayPal, Shopify, Kit Commerce, or similar) | Feeds Money, Offers, and This Month | Yes, or an email tool at minimum |
| Your email platform | Feeds the Email panel and list growth | Recommended |
| A free Airtable account, or Google Drive | Holds your monthly history | Yes, one of the two |
| Your monthly revenue goal | Setup asks for it. It can be one number or twelve | Have a rough number |
| Income your tools never see (ad revenue, affiliate payouts, sponsorships) | So your projection isn't smaller than the month will really be | If you have any |
Block out about an hour for the first setup. Most of that is Claude reading your tools and checking numbers with you. The interview itself is around ten minutes.
You don't need to know code. Claude asks one question at a time and offers a default for every one. "Whatever you think" is a fine answer.
Setup
Check each step off as you go. Your progress stays saved on this device.
.skill files from the Download section and save them somewhere you can find them.solo-command-center-setup.skill.solo-command-center-monthly.skill. Make sure both are toggled on.Open Settings, then Connectors, and add the tools you sell and email with. Most are one click from the directory. Not sure what to add? Skip to Step 3. Setup asks what you use and walks you through connecting each one.
| Tool | How to add it | What it feeds |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Directory | Money, Offers, This Month |
| PayPal | Directory | Money, Offers, This Month |
| Shopify | Directory | Money, Offers, This Month |
| Kit | Directory (needs a paid Kit plan) | Sales, Email panel, list growth |
| Metricool | Directory | Social panel follower counts |
| Airtable | Directory | Your history base |
| Google Drive | Directory | Your history, if you'd rather not use Airtable |
| Anything else | Directory or custom connector | Setup checks it live and tells you what it can feed |
Those first seven are tested against live accounts. Other tools can work too. Setup reads a real response from yours before it builds anything, and it tells you plainly if a tool won't answer.
The dashboard can only read connectors that run on the company's own servers. That means ones you added from Claude's directory, or as a custom connector with a web address.
Google Analytics and Search Console are the one exception. They run on your computer, and that's fine, because traffic never loads live. See the Traffic section.
Only add a custom connector from a link the company publishes in its own help docs, never from a third-party service that asks for your login or API key. The dashboard itself only ever reads.
If two of your tools record the same checkout, only one can be your sales source. Otherwise every sale counts twice. Common overlaps:
Setup asks which one to use. The default is your payment processor, because it's the one that sees refunds.
This one video covers Steps 3 to 6: starting setup, your history base, the interview and checking the numbers.
Open a new chat and type:
Set up my Solo Command CenterClaude asks what you use for payments, email and social, one at a time. If a tool isn't connected yet, it walks you through connecting it right there. Then it makes one small real call to each tool to confirm your account answers. If something can't connect, it tells you which panel will be missing instead of guessing.
Every dashboard gets a history base. This is where each closed month gets saved, so you can see the year and not just this month.
If you don't track your numbers anywhere yet, Claude creates an Airtable base called Command Center History and fills it backwards from your connectors, month by month, as far back as they'll answer. Payment tools usually reach back years, so your year tracker works on day one.
If you already track your numbers, tell Claude where. It reads what you have and maps your column names onto the dashboard's, so you don't rename anything. If your numbers are scattered across a few spreadsheets, it can copy them into one base and tell you exactly what it moved. It never edits your original tracker.
If you'd rather not add Airtable, pick Google Sheets. Claude can't edit cells in a Sheet, so each month it saves a new dated copy and moves the old one into an Archive folder. Seeing those copies pile up is normal.
The base holds one row per month, never individual sales. That keeps you on Airtable's free plan for about three years.
About ten minutes. Claude asks every question, including the dashboard name. When it suggests an answer, it tells you where the suggestion came from, like "your Stripe average, last 6 months."
| Topic | What you'll be asked | Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Basics | Dashboard name, currency | Pulled from your tools |
| Brands | Only if your tools show more than one | One brand means no brand menu on the dashboard |
| Goal | Your monthly revenue goal, and whether it changes by season | If your year has a slow summer or a big November, say so. A flat goal makes your slow months look like failure |
| Offers | Clean up product names, and group them into revenue streams | Three to six streams reads best |
| Offer links | The sales page address for each offer | Lets the dashboard match each email to the offer it promoted. Skip it if every email footer links to the same checkout |
| Other income | Income your tools never see, like affiliate payouts or ad income, and roughly what each brings in a month | It only counts toward your projections, marked as expected. Sales so far and past months show only money your tools recorded |
| Students | Only if you sell a course and care about enrolments | Skip it and the panel never appears |
| Branding | Your colors and fonts | Claude can pull them from your website |
At the end, Claude reads everything back, including where every number came from. Nothing gets built until you say yes.
Before publishing, Claude shows you last month's net revenue, order count, and top three offers. Open your payment dashboard in another tab and compare. This is the only step that catches a number that looks right but isn't:
None of these throw an error. You're the only one who knows what you made last month, so tell Claude if it's off. It fixes the connection and shows you again.
Claude publishes the dashboard to your Claude account and gives you the link. Bookmark it. The first time you open it:
At the end of setup, Claude offers to schedule the monthly save. Say yes. It runs on the 2nd of every month and writes the month that just closed to your history base. Skip it and your trend charts stop growing.
If you'd rather run it yourself, open a chat on the 2nd and type:
Run my Solo Command Center monthly saveThe monthly save asks what happened that month. A launch, a price change, a list clean, a week off. One sentence is plenty.
This is the most useful thirty seconds in the whole system. "Read my numbers" uses these notes to tell a real problem from an obvious one, like a dip in the month you were on vacation.
The monthly amount you gave for other income is an expectation, not a record. Your dashboard adds it to this month's projection and to the months ahead, each source labelled as expected. It never adds it to sales so far or to a month that has closed.
If the amount changes, open a chat and say "update my other income." The new figure applies from then on.
Optional module
Connect Google Analytics and Search Console, and your dashboard gets a Traffic panel plus a Sales pages table showing views, new buyers, and conversion for each offer. That lets "Read my numbers" tell a page problem from a traffic problem.
Skip this and everything else on your dashboard works the same. You can add it any time.
Plan on about 20 minutes. You'll work inside Google Cloud and edit a settings file on your computer, which can feel intimidating if you've never done it.
If you're brand new to this kind of thing, it's completely fine to skip traffic or hand this part to someone who's comfortable with tech. If you do it yourself, there's one video for the whole thing right above the written steps, so you can pause and follow along.
Traffic, written out
One video walks through all five parts, about 20 minutes. The written steps and code for each part are right under it. Part 3 is where most people get stuck, so go slow there.
Show me the steps for:
Claude talks to Google through a small program that runs on your computer. Google won't let that program in with your password, so you make it its own login, called a service account. Google Cloud is free for this. You won't be asked for a card.
claude-analytics and click Create.claude-analytics. Click Create and continue.iam.gserviceaccount.com. Copy it and save it somewhere, because you'll paste it twice in Part 3.claude-keys inside your Documents folder. Move the file there and rename it analytics-key.json. Don't leave it in Downloads. Claude reads it from this exact spot every time, so if you move it later, it stops working.Everything in Google Cloud gave the service account a way in. It did not give it permission to see your data. Your analytics doesn't know this login exists yet, so you add it like you'd add an assistant.

Your dashboard can't call the Google connectors directly, because they run on your computer. That's fine, because traffic doesn't need to be live. Once a month, the monthly save runs on this computer, reads Google Analytics, and saves the month to your history base: page views, sessions, and the views on each sales page. The Traffic panel reads from there.
If your computer is off on the 2nd, open a chat any day that month and type:
Run my Solo Command Center monthly saveIt's almost always one of these, in order of how often they come up.
Later
Open a chat and say what you want changed. A few examples:
Claude updates your existing dashboard at the same link, so your bookmark keeps working.
Troubleshooting
When one tool fails, only its own panels show a note. Everything else still loads.
| What you see | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| A panel says it couldn't load | Your sign-in to that tool lapsed, or the connector was removed | Reconnect it under Settings, then Connectors, and reopen the dashboard |
| A panel worked during setup but is empty on the dashboard | The connector is installed locally, not from the directory | Remove it and add the directory or URL version, then ask Claude to reconnect that panel |
| This month looks low right after the first open | Your main payment account is still loading | Give it a couple of minutes and reload |
| Revenue is about double what you made | Two tools are recording the same sale | Tell Claude which tool is your sales source |
| Revenue is about 100 times too high | Amounts read in cents | Tell Claude the number is off by 100x. It fixes the connection |
| An offer called "Unnamed" | PayPal payments with no description, like affiliate payouts or old store orders | Check who sent them on your PayPal activity page, then tell Claude what they are or to leave them out |
| Offer names look like checkout gibberish | Your cart sends long raw names | Ask Claude to rename them. Old names map to new ones |
| Last month is missing from the trend charts | The monthly save didn't run | Type "Run my Solo Command Center monthly save" |
| Gaps in the history further back | That tool stopped answering past a certain date | Expected. Add those months to your base by hand if you have them |
| A fix in your base isn't showing | History is read once a day | Check again tomorrow |
| Dated copies piling up in Google Drive | That's how the Sheets option saves | Normal. Never delete the newest one |
| No Social panel | No social tool connected that reports followers | Optional. Ask Claude whether your scheduler can feed it |
| No Traffic panel | Traffic isn't set up, or the first month hasn't been saved yet | Follow the Traffic section. The panel turns on once the first month is saved |
Honest limits
I'd rather you know these now than run into them later.
