What you need

You need a paid Claude plan. The dashboard reads your numbers through connectors, and connectors need a paid plan. On the free plan, setup has nothing to read from.

WhatWhyRequired?
A paid Claude planConnectors and the published dashboard depend on itYes
Your payment or store tool (Stripe, PayPal, Shopify, Kit Commerce, or similar)Feeds Money, Offers, and This MonthYes, or an email tool at minimum
Your email platformFeeds the Email panel and list growthRecommended
A free Airtable account, or Google DriveHolds your monthly historyYes, one of the two
Your monthly revenue goalSetup asks for it. It can be one number or twelveHave a rough number
Income your tools never see (ad revenue, affiliate payouts, sponsorships)So your projection isn't smaller than the month will really beIf you have any

Block out about an hour for the first setup. Most of that is Claude reading your tools and checking numbers with you. The interview itself is around ten minutes.

You don't need to know code. Claude asks one question at a time and offers a default for every one. "Whatever you think" is a fine answer.

Setup

Set it up in eight steps

1

Install the two skills

  1. Download both .skill files from the Download section and save them somewhere you can find them.
  2. In Claude, open Settings, then Capabilities.
  3. Make sure Code execution and file creation is turned on. Skills don't show up without it.
  4. Under Skills, click Upload skill and pick solo-command-center-setup.skill.
  5. Do it again for solo-command-center-monthly.skill. Make sure both are toggled on.
Don't see Skills under Capabilities? Look under Customize, then Skills. Claude moves this menu around from time to time.
2

Connect your tools

Open Settings, then Connectors, and add the tools you sell and email with. Most are one click from the directory. Not sure what to add? Skip to Step 3. Setup asks what you use and walks you through connecting each one.

ToolHow to add itWhat it feeds
StripeDirectoryMoney, Offers, This Month
PayPalDirectoryMoney, Offers, This Month
ShopifyDirectoryMoney, Offers, This Month
KitDirectory (needs a paid Kit plan)Sales, Email panel, list growth
MetricoolDirectorySocial panel follower counts
AirtableDirectoryYour history base
Google DriveDirectoryYour history, if you'd rather not use Airtable
Anything elseDirectory or custom connectorSetup checks it live and tells you what it can feed

Those first seven are tested against live accounts. Other tools can work too. Setup reads a real response from yours before it builds anything, and it tells you plainly if a tool won't answer.

The one rule that trips people up

The dashboard can only read connectors that run on the company's own servers. That means ones you added from Claude's directory, or as a custom connector with a web address.

If you installed a connector by running a command (npx, uvx, Docker) or by editing a config file, it won't work for the live panels. It looks fine during setup, then shows nothing on the published dashboard, with no error. Setup checks for this and leaves that panel out rather than publishing something broken.

Google Analytics and Search Console are the one exception. They run on your computer, and that's fine, because traffic never loads live. See the Traffic section.

Only add a custom connector from a link the company publishes in its own help docs, never from a third-party service that asks for your login or API key. The dashboard itself only ever reads.

Pick one source per sale

If two of your tools record the same checkout, only one can be your sales source. Otherwise every sale counts twice. Common overlaps:

  • Kit Commerce or a course platform that charges through Stripe or PayPal
  • Kit purchases copied in from your store or cart through Zapier
  • A Shopify or Etsy payout that lands in your PayPal account
  • A cart (ThriveCart, SamCart) sitting in front of Stripe

Setup asks which one to use. The default is your payment processor, because it's the one that sees refunds.

3

Start setup

This one video covers Steps 3 to 6: starting setup, your history base, the interview and checking the numbers.

Open a new chat and type:

Set up my Solo Command Center

Claude asks what you use for payments, email and social, one at a time. If a tool isn't connected yet, it walks you through connecting it right there. Then it makes one small real call to each tool to confirm your account answers. If something can't connect, it tells you which panel will be missing instead of guessing.

Setting up traffic too? Finish the Traffic section first, and run setup in the Claude desktop app on the same computer. Setup fills in your past months of traffic while it's there.
4

Your history base

Every dashboard gets a history base. This is where each closed month gets saved, so you can see the year and not just this month.

If you don't track your numbers anywhere yet, Claude creates an Airtable base called Command Center History and fills it backwards from your connectors, month by month, as far back as they'll answer. Payment tools usually reach back years, so your year tracker works on day one.

If you already track your numbers, tell Claude where. It reads what you have and maps your column names onto the dashboard's, so you don't rename anything. If your numbers are scattered across a few spreadsheets, it can copy them into one base and tell you exactly what it moved. It never edits your original tracker.

If you'd rather not add Airtable, pick Google Sheets. Claude can't edit cells in a Sheet, so each month it saves a new dated copy and moves the old one into an Archive folder. Seeing those copies pile up is normal.

The base holds one row per month, never individual sales. That keeps you on Airtable's free plan for about three years.

5

The interview

About ten minutes. Claude asks every question, including the dashboard name. When it suggests an answer, it tells you where the suggestion came from, like "your Stripe average, last 6 months."

TopicWhat you'll be askedTip
BasicsDashboard name, currencyPulled from your tools
BrandsOnly if your tools show more than oneOne brand means no brand menu on the dashboard
GoalYour monthly revenue goal, and whether it changes by seasonIf your year has a slow summer or a big November, say so. A flat goal makes your slow months look like failure
OffersClean up product names, and group them into revenue streamsThree to six streams reads best
Offer linksThe sales page address for each offerLets the dashboard match each email to the offer it promoted. Skip it if every email footer links to the same checkout
Other incomeIncome your tools never see, like affiliate payouts or ad income, and roughly what each brings in a monthIt only counts toward your projections, marked as expected. Sales so far and past months show only money your tools recorded
StudentsOnly if you sell a course and care about enrolmentsSkip it and the panel never appears
BrandingYour colors and fontsClaude can pull them from your website

At the end, Claude reads everything back, including where every number came from. Nothing gets built until you say yes.

6

Check the numbers (don't skip this)

Before publishing, Claude shows you last month's net revenue, order count, and top three offers. Open your payment dashboard in another tab and compare. This is the only step that catches a number that looks right but isn't:

  • Money read in cents, so revenue shows 100 times too high
  • A refund counted as a sale
  • The same sale coming in from two tools
  • A payout from another platform counted as new revenue
  • Offer names showing as raw checkout text

None of these throw an error. You're the only one who knows what you made last month, so tell Claude if it's off. It fixes the connection and shows you again.

7

Publish and open it

Claude publishes the dashboard to your Claude account and gives you the link. Bookmark it. The first time you open it:

  • It asks permission for each connector. Allow them all.
  • A busy payment account can take a couple of minutes to load the first time. The other tools fill in first, so this month can look low until it finishes. After that, opens only re-read the last five weeks.
  • Sales and this month's emails load live every time you open it. There's no refresh button.
  • History is read once a day, so a fix you make in your base shows up tomorrow.
  • The "Read my numbers" button uses your own Claude plan, and only when you click it.
8

Turn on the monthly save

At the end of setup, Claude offers to schedule the monthly save. Say yes. It runs on the 2nd of every month and writes the month that just closed to your history base. Skip it and your trend charts stop growing.

If you'd rather run it yourself, open a chat on the 2nd and type:

Run my Solo Command Center monthly save

Add a notes line each month

The monthly save asks what happened that month. A launch, a price change, a list clean, a week off. One sentence is plenty.

This is the most useful thirty seconds in the whole system. "Read my numbers" uses these notes to tell a real problem from an obvious one, like a dip in the month you were on vacation.

Other income stays in the projection

The monthly amount you gave for other income is an expectation, not a record. Your dashboard adds it to this month's projection and to the months ahead, each source labelled as expected. It never adds it to sales so far or to a month that has closed.

If the amount changes, open a chat and say "update my other income." The new figure applies from then on.

Optional module

Add your traffic

Connect Google Analytics and Search Console, and your dashboard gets a Traffic panel plus a Sales pages table showing views, new buyers, and conversion for each offer. That lets "Read my numbers" tell a page problem from a traffic problem.

Skip this and everything else on your dashboard works the same. You can add it any time.

Heads up: this is the trickiest part of the whole setup.

Plan on about 20 minutes. You'll work inside Google Cloud and edit a settings file on your computer, which can feel intimidating if you've never done it.

If you're brand new to this kind of thing, it's completely fine to skip traffic or hand this part to someone who's comfortable with tech. If you do it yourself, there's one video for the whole thing right above the written steps, so you can pause and follow along.

Traffic, written out

Every step, in order

One video walks through all five parts, about 20 minutes. The written steps and code for each part are right under it. Part 3 is where most people get stuck, so go slow there.

You'll need: the Claude desktop app (this doesn't work in Claude in a browser), and the Google account that owns your Google Analytics property and your Search Console site.

Show me the steps for:

Part 1

A Google Cloud project and three APIs

Claude talks to Google through a small program that runs on your computer. Google won't let that program in with your password, so you make it its own login, called a service account. Google Cloud is free for this. You won't be asked for a card.

  1. Go to console.cloud.google.com and sign in with the Google account you use for Google Analytics.
  2. Click the project picker at the top left, then New Project. Name it something like claude-analytics and click Create.
  3. Make sure your new project is the one selected in the picker. If you skip this, you'll turn things on in the wrong project.
  4. Open the menu (three lines, top left), then APIs & Services, then Library.
  5. Search Google Analytics Admin API, click it, and click Enable.
  6. Back to Library. Search Google Analytics Data API, click it, and click Enable.
  7. Back to Library. Search Google Search Console API, click it, and click Enable.
These are three separate switches. Turning on one doesn't cover the others, so do all three.
Part 2

The service account and its key

  1. Open the menu, then IAM & Admin, then Service Accounts. Click Create service account.
  2. Give it a name you'll recognize, like claude-analytics. Click Create and continue.
  3. On the role screen, leave Role empty. Click Continue, then Done.
  4. Find the new service account's email address. It ends in iam.gserviceaccount.com. Copy it and save it somewhere, because you'll paste it twice in Part 3.
  5. Click that email to open the account's page. Open the Keys tab, then Add key, Create new key, JSON, Create. A small file downloads.
  6. Make a folder called claude-keys inside your Documents folder. Move the file there and rename it analytics-key.json. Don't leave it in Downloads. Claude reads it from this exact spot every time, so if you move it later, it stops working.
That file is the password for this login. Don't email it, don't put it in a shared drive, and don't post a screenshot of what's inside.
Google says key creation is disabled? Your account belongs to a Google Workspace organization that blocks keys by default. Your Workspace admin can turn that policy off for this project. It's a one-time change.
Part 3 · Go slow here

Give it access to your data

Everything in Google Cloud gave the service account a way in. It did not give it permission to see your data. Your analytics doesn't know this login exists yet, so you add it like you'd add an assistant.

In Google Analytics

  1. Go to analytics.google.com. Click Admin (gear icon, bottom left).
  2. Check you're on the property for the site you want. Under Property, click Property access management.
  3. Click the plus, then Add users. Paste the service account email.
  4. Leave the role on Viewer. It only reads, so that's all it needs.
  5. Turn off Notify new users by email, since nobody reads that inbox. Click Add.
  6. Have more than one site? Repeat this for each property you want Claude to see.

In Search Console

  1. Go to search.google.com/search-console and pick your site.
  2. Click Settings, then Users and permissions, then Add user.
  3. Paste the same email and choose Full. Click Add. Restricted can miss some reports. Full can see everything but can't add users or change who owns the site.
  4. Repeat for each site you want Claude to see.
If Claude ever says it has no access, or it finds zero properties, come back to this part first. It's almost always the fix.
Part 4

Connect it to Claude

  1. Click Start, type PowerShell, and open Windows PowerShell. Paste this line and press Enter. Wait until it says it's installed. Open Terminal. Paste this line and press Enter. Wait until it says it's installed.
    Install uv · Windows
powershell -ExecutionPolicy ByPass -c "irm https://astral.sh/uv/install.ps1 | iex"
    Install uv · Mac
    curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh
This installs a small tool called uv. It runs both connectors and downloads anything else they need, so you don't install Python yourself.
  2. Close PowerShell and open a new PowerShell window. Paste this and press Enter: Close Terminal and open a new Terminal window. Paste this and press Enter:
Find the uvx path · Windows
    Get-Command uvx | Select-Object -ExpandProperty Source
Find the uvx path · Mac
    which uvx
It prints a path like C:\Users\YourName\.local\bin\uvx.exe. Copy it and keep it handy. It prints a path like /Users/yourname/.local/bin/uvx. Copy it and keep it handy.
  3. In the Claude desktop app, open Settings, then Developer, then click Edit Config. A folder opens with claude_desktop_config.json highlighted. Right-click it, choose Open with, then Notepad.Right-click it, choose Open With, then TextEdit.
  4. Check what's already in the file.

If it's empty, or has nothing under "mcpServers", select everything, delete it, and paste the full block below.

If you already have other connectors listed, don't delete them. Skip ahead to the entries-only block further down.

            "GSC_SKIP_OAUTH": "true"
          }
        }
  5. Swap in your own details. Three things, in four places:
    • The uvx path goes on both "command" lines. Use the path you copied in step 2.
    • Your key file path goes on both credentials lines. In File Explorer, open your claude-keys folder, right-click the key file, and choose Copy as path. Paste it in and delete the extra quote marks it brings. In Finder, open your claude-keys folder, right-click the key file, hold the Option key, and choose Copy "analytics-key.json" as Pathname.
    • Your project ID replaces your-project-id. In Google Cloud, click the project picker at the top and copy the ID next to your project's name, not the name itself. It's usually the name plus some numbers.
Windows: double every backslash. A path like C:\Users\Dee has to be typed as C:\\Users\\Dee in this file. One missing backslash is the most common reason this file fails.
Mac: paths use forward slashes, and nothing gets doubled.

Keep the quote marks around every path. You need exactly one set, not two.

  6. Save with Ctrl+S. Then fully quit Claude: click the up arrow by the clock, right-click the Claude icon, and choose Quit. Closing the window isn't enough. Open Claude again. Save with Command+S. Then fully quit Claude with Command+Q. Closing the window isn't enough. Open Claude again.
  7. Go to Settings, then Developer. You should see analytics-mcp and gscServer both showing as running. The first start can take a minute while uv downloads what it needs.
  8. Open a new chat and test it with these, one at a time. Click Allow when Claude asks to use a connector.
    Test 1
    List my Google Analytics properties.
    Test 2
How many sessions did my site get last month, by channel?
    Test 3
What were my top 10 Search Console queries last month, with clicks and average position?
If you have more than one site, Claude lists them all. Tell it which one you mean by name.
Part 5

Turn on traffic in your dashboard

Your dashboard can't call the Google connectors directly, because they run on your computer. That's fine, because traffic doesn't need to be live. Once a month, the monthly save runs on this computer, reads Google Analytics, and saves the month to your history base: page views, sessions, and the views on each sales page. The Traffic panel reads from there.

  1. In the Claude desktop app, on this same computer, run setup (or ask it to add traffic if your dashboard already exists). Tell it Google Analytics is connected and you want traffic.
  2. It asks for the sales page for each offer. Use the page people read before they buy. If you sell from an all-in-one checkout like ThriveCart or Stan, where the checkout page is the page people read, use that one.
  3. Give the full address, with the subdomain if there is one.
  4. When it offers to schedule the monthly save, say yes. That task has to run on this computer too.
Never give it a thank-you or confirmation page. Those count refreshes and repeat visits, and the conversion math comes out wrong.

If your computer is off on the 2nd, open a chat any day that month and type:

Run my Solo Command Center monthly save
If it doesn't work

Traffic troubleshooting

It's almost always one of these, in order of how often they come up.

The connectors don't show up in Settings, Developer
The config file has a typo. Usually it's a missing comma between entries, or a single backslash in a Windows path. Fix it, save, and fully quit Claude again.
It shows up but says it failed to start
The command path is wrong. Run the find-the-uvx-path line from Part 4 again and paste the exact path it prints. On Windows, double the backslashes.
Claude connects but finds zero properties, or says permission denied
Go back to Part 3. The service account email isn't added to that Google Analytics property or that Search Console site yet.
The error says an API hasn't been used in this project
One of the three APIs in Part 1 is off, or it's on in a different project. The error names which one. Turn it on in the project your key came from.
It worked, then stopped
You moved or renamed the key file. Put it back where it was, or update both credentials paths in the config file.
Still stuck?
Start a new chat with Claude. Tell it you're connecting Google Analytics and Search Console, paste your config file with the key path and project ID removed, and add a screenshot of the error. It can usually spot the typo. If that doesn't do it, use the help form.
